My name is Jenn Halverson Kuehn, a 30-something-year-old from Tacoma, WA and organizer of FoodCamp (253), currently living in Kailua, HI.
I am an amateur triathlete after spending my childhood swimming and my high school and college years playing water polo. My husband, Scott, takes his punishment in the form of bike races (road and cyclocross). Together, we have quite the collection of water bottles.
We’re always trying to eat in a way that supports our athletic and personal goals and leaves us feeling healthy. If you eat things that make you feel like you got punched in the stomach, well, you’re probably not going on that run you were planning to do.
Having spent the last few years researching, writing, and marketing health insurance related projects and products, I have read more studies than I can count about the role lifestyle choices have on disease prevention – and indirectly insurance premiums. Before this, I was earning degrees in English and Ethics. Over time, my love for reading and writing crossed paths with my curiosity about health, wellness and community and I started writing My Feed Zone.
I’d love to hear about your feed zone or any comments you have about my feed zone. Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org or find me on twitter .
